Republican U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama and the current GOP nominee for governor of the state targeted trans people in a speech on the Senate floor, spewing transphobia and misinformation. In a tangent, the Republican also seemed to support a conspiracy theory that many flight attendants are furries.

The lawmaker accused trans people of violence and even proposed that they should be put in mental health facilities as he stood beside a poster with a pregnant man emoji with “transgederism is a mental disease” on the top.

Gender dysphoria is a mental illness. The cure is transition. We’ve known this for over a century in modern medicine, and people like him’s only comprehension is to kill and hurt and stand on top of it and make a face like he shit his pants.

Depression is also mental illness, but doesn’t have a clear easy solution.

Homosexuality is not mental illness, neither is it to be transgender. Both of those are as natural as being alive and as harmful as breathing.

Conservatives need to go touch grass.

Edit: oh, also, furries? Nobody gives a shit. Totally harmless. It’s worse for you to go to church or be religious - for an example, see the piece of shit this post is about. I swear, it’s always projection with these assholes.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia -> It’s Always Projection with Republicans

It’s like motherfuckers are complaining about engineers being technical and obsessive. I’m so tired of how stupid these people are and how destructive it always becomes. Everything they touch rots.

JFC, “transgenderism”. These people act like it’s some kind of political system like conservatism.

Also, why do they spend so much time and energy on such a tiny tiny fraction of the population, when they have so many real problems to address? Everything is unaffordable and this jackass wants to talk about furries and trans?

    Fuck all the way off.

They have to keep doing this to distract from the pedophile and the Epstein files. And the war profiteering. And the death camps. And the child murder. And the genocide. And the school shootings. And the deepening divide between the richest <1% and everyone else. And the food that will kill us. And the accelerating climate change. And the other atrocities these fucks have perpetrated. I’m sure I missed a good thousand.

I would really enjoy furry flight attendants. The suits would have to be slimline and custom to fit through the aisles and maintain safety, but that’s totally doable. It would stop dirty old Saudi fucks from groping them too.

He was all worried about Furries flying planes and being flight attendants.

On the show Pluribus, when aliens take over almost everybody except for a few, like the Protagonist, she gets on a plane that’s being flown by a young woman in a TGIF uniform, and it shakes her up a bit. It taught the aliens that they should have their pilots wearing real pilot gear.

So if I get on a plane, and there’s a furry in the pilots seat, yeah, I’m going to question it, but if he’s a fully qualified, experienced pilot, then I’m taking my seat. I don’t care what his religion is.

But that’s a problem I’m going to deal with when it comes up, when I step into a plane, and the pilot is dressed like a gorilla or something. I’m definitely not voting over this particular issue.
