Satellite internet functionality via Starshield — the military version of the SpaceX service — was being at least partially restored Thursday morning, according to a source in the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

Ukraine has resumed strikes on Russian oil refineries after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy angrily accused the United States of betraying Kyiv with a “dangerous” withdrawal of support critical to its defense against Russia.

Ukraine held off on attacks for three days after Donald Trump’s unilateral “energy ceasefire” announcement, but accused Russia of repeatedly attacking its power grid. Zelenskyy voiced mounting frustration over the Kremlin’s failure to abide by the truce, and what he sees as U.S. attempts to pressure Kyiv after gaps in intelligence sharing on Russian attacks and restrictions on the Starlink internet service.

Satellite internet functionality via Starshield — the military version of the SpaceX service — was being at least partially restored Thursday, according to a source in the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the topic.

In an interview with the Financial Times, published Thursday, Zelenskyy indicated his patience had already been exhausted.

Because Trump expects some kind of deal out of Ukraine and Russia, that will lead to a new age of prosperity, and in turn, his immortality as a president forever remembered for making America great again. Or Putin has the pee tapes, featuring underage girls, as recorded by Jeffrey Epstein, on Saint Little James.

I know why Trump’s doing it. Why everyone else though? This conflict is talked about as of it were a two way street when it was an aggressive act on the part of Russia.

Many people were full into the idea of the USSR, and still are angry that it dissolved. They see Russia as a legitimate successor and lick up their narrative.

And then there are people who don’t like Russia or war, but who are also skeptical about their own leadership in the US and NATO states. Both siders.

The Russian narrative has a good chance with these as well.

And then there’s young people who have not experienced much history themselves and are in need of orientation.
