Anatomy and hormones you produce, yes. Injecting yourself with massive amounts of synthetic testosterone or estrogen isn’t part of your biological sex. Just mark whatever the hell you want, it’s a stupid survey. If you need it to validate yourself you have a lot bigger problems.

Personally I don’t think they’d be able to tell the difference between someone not responding and a response being lost in the mail. The USPS is notoriously unreliable and should be privatized, donchaknow.
They send people to your address if they don’t get a response, since its based off addresses and not people.
I had multiple people show up multiple times the last time we had a census cuz I didn’t want to deal with it. It doesn’t just go away.
