Agreed. The leadership and the people they surround themselves with are just shit people who have forgotten that corporations aren’t people.
Even in a issue that all Americans can actually agree suck ass, they can’t help themselves in aligning themselves with corporations. Even a winning position, they salivate and whore themselves to corporate money.

I’m terrified that the larger fascist movement will decide data centers and Flock are expendable and fully adopt these popular positions because Democrats refuse to do so. Or worse, realize they can just lie about it and then do nothing to hurt their corporate friends.
These are easy political wins. Fuck the opposition money, just adopt the position with 70%+ political support and regular people activated enough to go shout at their local reps about it. Having the position people are passionate about is worth more and it’s just sitting there waiting for someone to claim it.

Democratic consultants are privately encouraging their battleground candidates to avoid talking about artificial intelligence regulations out of fear that powerful tech groups will unleash a tidal wave of spending against them ahead of November.

They’re probably the same people who consulted in 2024 to work with the GOP and avoid Gaza. Consultants are literally the worst part of the party.
The fact that money wins elections in the US, combined with the fact that fewer people have more of the money… It’s a bad combination.
