I don’t live in the US but it must be hard seeing that there are groups that are anti-vaccines who will make those decisions for their children who inevitably will get sick, and those who are sensible have the full knowledge that this was easily avoidable because prior to vaccinations there was widespread death.
Also not uniquely a US problem but clearly at the forefront of online media.

I did, twice, despite being vaccinated. The first time was mild, but the second time fucked me up for over a year. Would not recommend.

I work at a call center and I wear a mask when I’m in office and haven’t missed a flu or COVID shot yet. I’ve never had COVID and haven’t been sick since at least 2019.
I know my state has its own advisories and require insurance to cover them. At least for now. Who knows if the elections literally go south.
