It says “Email and work apps are not offered through the Commostore app store”. So you can’t receive email unless you sideload an email app. And you could also sideload a browser as well to open a link. At which point you just have a smartphone.

Run the background stuff as a daemon, and then write an interface to take stdin/stdout and interact with that daemon.

Because a Silverado costs less to make, and they can sell for 3 times the price.

Maybe Uber should be responsible for background checks of their drivers and hold them accountable for their actions and be able to fire them for misconduct. But that might require hiring drivers as actual employees. And then Uber could issue company vehicles.

The fact that we allow Uber/Lyft to operate as a way to skirt regulations that were put in place to keep people safe, and then trust Uber will implement work around solutions like this is ridiculous.

Also, the search function in every GUI file browser on linux will be streets ahead of the one built into the windows file explorer, so you don’t need to fear using it. It won’t return ads, or web results, or take 6 years to search through the folder that you are currently in.

the underlying system organization is completely impossible to navigate. Pertinent files can be scattered over several locations for whatever reason so don’t even bother trying to figure out a pattern
