Again with the whataboutism. Obviously that’s also wrong, and it is also obviously not a defense for sharia.

Who said anything about creeping sharia? Don’t put words in my mouth, nobody with any brains is worried about sharia in the US. But no, honor killings are fake news, you’re so right!

The killing mostly? Death for leaving Islam, death for adultry, etc. Btw the US system being shit is not a defense of sharia.

Not necessarily, or even usually.

You don’t go to school, but the community you live in is improved by having kids who did. Less crime, more people capable of doing the jobs that make society run, etc.
Also, how on earth do you imagine “entering into a contract” for the roads you drive on? You’d rather have every single road be a toll road? I think that could easily end up costing you more.

Some communities choose a different balance, lower property taxes and higher consumption taxes for example. The fact is that you expect certain services when you buy a house and that money has to come from somewhere. Generations of homeowners before you have voted to set things up the way they are, and you’re free to vote for someone with different ideas!

If??? Just wait until it gets appealed!

USPS actually does not deliver to all addresses, there are places that are PO Box only!

They could have just required that books, etc must be shipped directly from whatever vendor they are purchased from, not like Amazon is going to assist in smuggling…

If you have a consistent schedule, you can also use timers for those so you don’t always need to remember to run it.

Most houses in the US have a single water heater, usually in the basement or utility room, with pipes running all through the house.

I thought a hot water circulator would be great, and it kind of is, but it comes with a drawback that I hadn’t considered. If you want cold water from the tap, to fill a glass of water at night for example, you have to wait for that just as long as you would have had to for the hot water before!
Wrong. I responded to the question “what’s so bad about sharia”. I didn’t pick the topic of this thread.
