2·3 months agoIt depends if you’re using Pangolin for private access or public exposure.
NetBird is a clean replacement for headscale/tailscale, but if your using pangolin specifically for its public tunnel feature then you’d need to keep pangolin.

Fedora for desktop, just because gnome is a first class citizen and it just works. On my laptop’s however it’s either Alpine or Void musl.

People get the leaders they deserve.
Sadly, they often do not.
There is always the option of non compliance.
Personally, I don’t think this is the answer. Like, I get it, and it’s a sure way to avoid having to deal with all this bs. But at the end of the day, the only people who suffer from this decision are the end users. It’s punishing them for something their government has implemented. Doesn’t seem right to me.

The future of industry is doomed with gen z being militantly unwilling to take a phone call. But I am holding onto some hope because I hear they’re also spearheading the CD music revival, so I just hope they also recognise the retro-coolness of telecommunication.
Otherwise, the art of verbal communication will die. People will meet and connect via text, only to be completely overwhelmed when they meet irl and have to talk to one another face to face. But social life is inconsequential. However, at the end of the day, if you can’t talk on the phone for the purpose of business communication, your just a fucking pussy.

Sounds like proton is building a complete and centralised ecosystem, kinda like Google. Sure, they’re not the same as Google, and you can probably trust them as far as security is concerned. But, for me, decentralization is key to privacy.

I want to be able to flash my Car’s ECU with custom FOSS software. Yes, you can already replace the ECU with custom tuneing opetions that cost an arm and a leg. I want there to be Open Source Software and Hardware for consumer vehicles!
