For the record I think the death penalty should be abolished. However, I’ve always thought guillotine would be the way to go. Very quick, and without a head there is no chance they aren’t dead. I guess that’s just too yucky.

So she is sentenced to death, and their method fails so she now is on a ventilator. Presumably she is on the ventilator because she can’t breathe on her own and will die without it. If they take her off the vent and she dies would that not then make the execution a success?

AMA is a lobbying group, they have no power to grant or remove doctors’ licenses or credentials. That power lies with state medical licensing boards, or specialty boards like ABIM and ABFM. That being said, state medical boards should be revoking licenses for those quack doctors.

Alabama voted in Doug Jones, likely a fluke that we won’t be able to repeat, but there is a very thin sliver of hope.
