good thing it doesn’t need therapy. lol

it’s the way it’s been setup; it needs a thorough revamping to make it as resilient as other supply chains.
not that other chains are bullet proof, it’s just that npm people need to up their game to be atleast as good as the others.
tuta seems to avoid making this “mistake” and it too has a sizeable following as well as a full complement of privacy respecting services that can rival proton.
I skipped down to the part where they said their ad buys are sort of not their fault? lol
don’t you just hate it when your money spends itself all on its own and w/o your control? lol
you’re working from a different definition of “platform.” I’m using the modern sense: giving someone a stage or amplifying their voice, not just hosting them on your own service.
that’s how it started and it escalated to proton itself paying a french fascist to make a video a few days ago.
you’re lucky not to know what 88 signified before the internet because it mean that you were never affected by the people it attracted.
@mrnngglry@sh.itjust.works proton keeps publicly dog whistling fascists/maga and – hopefully – by accident.
There’s some confused allegations of them being MAGA Facists. But it’s a combination of misunderstanding and misrepresentation.
funny how they’re the only ones in this space that keeps making this mistake

Proton is (or was) often recommended as a privacy-respecting email provider,
has tuta supplanted proton?
In any case, if you really care about privacy and security - you probably aren’t a Proton user, let alone customer. And if you are - I highly recommend trying alternatives that don’t have a long history of working with law enforcement.
what else has a full complement of services besides tuta?
unfortunately, a lot of us need more than vpn and proton has a full suite.
I don’t know what they’re responding to though, because this post only has their reply.
they platformed a well known french fascist.

close; les natali

used to be when i paid attention. he says he’s taken steps to reduce knee-jerk reactions.
why would I trust them with my data
because proton is highly regarded among privacy experts.
and i’m guessing most privacy experts dgaf about politics like most technology experts don’t.
nvidia is a bigger problem imo.
i know for a fact that that they build and test their products on linux, but still refuse to make their products fully functional w linux.
if your grub timeout is set to zero, you’re almost never going to see the bootloader screen.
