It’s been years since I’ve used Kodi but I remember after it being set up it was pretty solid. I’m sure it’s been improved since then

1·18 days agoI remember the ppc to intel transition. That’s when I bought an Intel Mac running leopard, right before snow leopard came out iirc.
I agree it’s shitty (especially since it’s only been three years).

1·18 days agoHas it really only been three years? I was thinking it’s been six, but you’re right. I had to double check Wikipedia. I did read on HN that the asahi issue is a bug and not intentional.

Technology@lemmy.world•Cars are like horses: people will soon realise EVs are just better, claims VW bossEnglish
224·22 days agoThere’s already so many ev cars in scrap yards due to being mechanically totaled from dead batteries it’s not worth buying one unless you plan to lease or budget for a new battery/motor after the warranty is out. ICE cars at the price of EV cars still last way longer, and can be maintained to continue running without a mandatory motor replacement after a certain number of miles/hours.

I need to look into sync thing I hear good things. Basically you point it to some storage and have it copy a local folder/file?
Iirc Joplin has a Nextcloud plugin so Nextcloud can be the self hosted cloud storage. I’ve been meaning to set it up

I also think people with the mental caliber of Leo don’t think of consequences when they spend their money, so it’s possible he sold everything he owns and built debt to leave.
