The default settings do break quite a few sites, but after 10 mins of tweaking it works like Firefox but without all the AI bullshit and adverts


Oh? I haven’t used their browser since ~2018, good to know that I continue to have made the right decision. I now use librewolf on my desktop and IronFox on my phone

I have managed to get all my friendship group on signal and we use it daily. While it does have its flaws (mainly being centralised and US based), I try in life to not let perfect be the enemy of good. Until there’s a stable and easy to use alternative I can point my friends to, I imagine we’ll stay on Signal.


FWIW, Monzo works on Lineage OS with no gapps. I can’t use google pay but I have a card for that.

There’s also the upcoming Mecha Comet which has been able to make calls and use mobile data in testing but is yet to be released so we’ll have to wait and see how usable it is.
