or don’t bother with making copies and just pirate a copy later if there’s an issue with the disc.

gonna get downvoted to hell here but making EVs and charging infrastructure is a good thing. also rooftop solar and batteries.
still, fuck nazi elon.
edit: this isn’t even about “credit” for developing the tech or whatever. even if we all agree this stuff was going to happen with or without elon, the Tesla business is still putting these products on the market. That is good, just like Mullvad and VPN. They didn’t invent VPN or anything, they are just one (good) provider.

This does not surprise me at all. Plant based products (like milks) need added texture to resemble the animal based version. That does not necessarily mean the additives are “bad” or worse for you than the saturated fats in cow milk.

you were probably downvoted because it’s completely unnecessary and off topic. no one was going to bring this up but you.

Yes, that’s literally what I said about bubbles. The assertion in OP is that RAM pricing won’t go back to pre-bubble prices. If that is true, RAM manufacturing will be incredibly profitable post-AI-bubble and competition should emerge eventually.

maybe i’m naive, but if it’s so profitable to make RAM in the long-term, why wouldn’t competition emerge? I get not investing in the startup costs just for a bubble, but that’s not what we’re talking about here.

or maybe it’s predicting the future.

without the high, double blind human trials will be relatively easy. looking forward to that.

My understanding is natural gas is cheaper than coal nowadays because the waste heat can be captured and reused.

wave goodbye.

“next” phone lol

how does the logic work so it’s not their fault? if they are price fixing they are price fixing, the mechanism doesn’t matter.

but at least they are people? Now corporations are just doing it themselves and “influencers” are now out there on the job market like the rest of us. So I am still very much “fuck AI taking our jobs” in this scenario.

it’s “% of U.S. adults who say they ever use AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot”. They didn’t ask about regular use, it’s the total number of people who have ever used a chatbot in any capacity. So with that framing 49% doesn’t surprise me. Of course the percentage of people who have ever used a chatbot is going to go up over time.

maybe start protesting the cheeto in the white house shitposting AI images all the damn time.

how old is this motherfucker, 100?
sign me the fuck up, but what i really want is a norovirus vaccine. that knocked me on my ass earlier this year.
