Thankfully I’m clear, but I am guilty of haphazardly installing junk from the AUR, I should clean that up and uninstall everything but the stuff I really use.
Queer transfem into video games, cartoons, tech, science and just learning cool stuff in general.

This is surely a joke post, please tell me this is not actually the cause… *reads article*… it’s the cause… *sigh*

“who owns a vast collection of exotic animal heads in trophy rooms at home”
Rooms, with an S. It’s always these creeps who fill their home with corpses.

They said the same thing when Trump became the front runner in 2016. Never underestimate the Democrat’s ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Don’t get complacent, don’t expect the populace to notice or care.

That’s interesting that GPLD1 is released from the liver through exercise and it’s what keeps the blood-brain barrier healthy. I wonder why exercise is the trigger? why is it not released on a schedule?

But also, oops, you cant vote, sucks that you were going to vote for us anyway

I bet its hard to blackmail someone who can’t remember they are being blackmailed

That’s a real boneitis situation

Isn’t lithium already used to treat bipolar disorder? I don’t know that it’s this lithium orotate they are talking about, but it feels like it would be good data to check rates of Alzheimer’s on people using lithium as treatment for bipolar disorder.
Either way, I hope this pans out into something useful for once.

Funny you say that, I mostly swapped to eating cocktail peanuts as my salty snack of choice. They are more filling, so I don’t overeat and are definitely healthier than chips.

I’m that way with Pringles. I look at it and it looks like a giant tube of chips that should ideally last many days, but I can easily eat over half the tube in one sitting if I’m not being conscious of how many I’m eating at a time.

A longer more accurate sign would read:
“Do not enter. Violators will be charged with Trespassing.”
But that’s a lot more words than just saying “No Trespassing”, and its less likely to be overlooked.

Of course its at Fulton County, its the biggest county in Georgia that also voted overwhelmingly for Biden.

i was having a fine day, until scientists overturned gravity, now I’m stuck on the ceiling.

Appreciate an expert’s input. So this is not so much a new discovery as a new method of creating these 3D double bonds that were previously a much bigger pain to create. That is progress, but not the “new frontier” level progress the article tries to sell you on.

I did my best to read through it, but I am not a chemistry buff, so this is my best attempt at explaining it. In molecules, the bonds between atoms can be single, double or triple, but it was a stated rule that double bonds only formed in 2D molecules. This discovery proves that is not the case and a double bonded atom can indeed take a 3D shape. With this limit removed in the shapes molecules can take. This is an opening for a huge jump in medicine and other chemistry related discoveries/creations as the set of tools chemists have to play with opened up just a little further.

as Uncle Ben used to say, “With great power comes great entitlement”

I mean, Ozempic is still very much a diabetic drug, its just that its gained popularity, far and away, beyond diabetics for its weight loss properties in everyone.

can you imagine how much water you can boil with your own tiny sun? we are going to be boiling so much water.
yeah have players change that to, “I don’t need to play PlayStation exclusives”
