If you have T-Mobile or AT&T, there is an incompatibility between them and GrapheneOS
I have switched away from those carriers for about a month now and RCS has consistently worked for me with no issues

I was unaware of this. I have never run into that issue, but I’ve never used the bootloader to reset a phone that is associated with my google account.
I would assume not having a google account associated with the phone would disable FRP making it a non-issue, but I’m clearly not an expert as I didn’t know this existed

That is not the case in my experience. At the very least, you can wipe it from recovery without unlocking it.
I suppose its possible it varies between manufacturers, but I would be surprised because they don’t want the hardware to be useless if you forget the pin immediately after you set it.

You can always wipe it without the duress pin

5 to 50 watts

This is the first I’ve heard of the situation so I could be wrong, but he was introduced as a youtuber. If YouTube (a big tech product) is the source of his fame and income, isn’t it silly to say he shouldn’t be using any big tech products at all?
There is obviously room for compromise and nuance, like limiting the info he gives them, but I don’t think that’s what you’re advocating for
