They are also clearly planning to obstruct the view of the work with those tarps. That’s very disappointing.

When I posted the link I thought we were pretty close to seeing letters come down. Now I am starting to think we’re about to find out the answer to that.

I am not sure why they take so long. They have been erecting the scaffolding, but they keep pausing in between. I am still enjoying a bit of schadenfreude just from watching the scaffolding pieces get put up though.

But what happens if he just does it anyway?

Too bad Bezos wasn’t on board. Better luck next time!

I mean, they’d run out of people willing to do the things that inspire French revolutionary style ideas eventually. But no, it’s probably not a feasible solution.
Too reactive to really work. Efforts to prevent fuck shits like this from getting into positions of disproportionate privilege and power in the first place are needed. Good luck with that in a capitalist system though.

Man they did that guy dirty. The headline and picture makes it look like he’s the Lyft driver.

You’re right, and I am aware of that. I was just using the opportunity to express disdain for Fetterman. The cynical part of me doesn’t mind the omission because regardless of whoever is the leader the Republicans always seem to manage to get what they want these days. Although that’s probably just a bias based on my frustrations and fixation on the bad they’ve managed to do, in no small part because of Perle like Fetterman.
That is more complex to express than fuck Shitterman though, so I went the lazy route.

This implies Shitterman needs to be flipped.

Based anecdotally on conversions I’ve had in a few different states: everyone likes their schmuck. It is the others that are, apparently, the problem.

Am I misremembering previous polls? I could have sworn this has been about what his approval has been ever since his first term.

She thinks Jews have a laser in space that they were using to start wildfires in California. Little different than blanket disliking religion.

Probably not. I would guess that if she didn’t have the money and connections to live a life of carefree, casual cruelty for the sake of it before, she does now.
Being the fall guy she probably always knew was part of the pact is not likely keeping her up at night.
Hope I’m wrong, and she eventually suffers as she has made others suffer.

I think at this point anyone still supporting him is going to be devastated when their orange god shits it. Pretty much only ride or die types there anymore.
They give lip service to not supporting one thing or another, but there always maintain they’d never have voted for anyone opposing him, so. Seems to me that you kinda have to be all in at this point, whatever you say.

There is a lot that goes into the answer to that question.
Some of it has to do with Republicans tending to emphasize election day turnout, while Democrats trend to try to increase turnout by emphasizing the convenience of mail in voting.
Urban areas were also the first to relax the rules for mail in voting, requiring less or no explanation for the absentee vote. Partially this is to combat long lines and congestion that urban areas face at pollng sites that rural communities just don’t have.
People who’ve successfully used the process before are more likely to do so again, and urban areas were there first ones it was easy to do it in. This means there’s a skew from multiple fronts regarding voting habits.
Partisan effects of education, geography, and policy - particularly Trump’s erosion of trust in absentee voting - contribute to a person not trying the absentee process in the first place. It less created than amplified behavior patterns that already existed.

Left leaning people who would vote against him, presumably, vote by mail more than conservatives do. That’s what I imagine the real motivation is.

The scary thing is that we’ll have no way of knowing if a variant as bad or worse than the original appears. Or something else presenting a similar danger. Who’s gonna tell us, or even know? RFK and the HHS he leads? I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one.

I am sure the pedophile party has plans for these children.
Bipartisan? So what’s wrong with it?
