This particular rumor is quite dubious, however. He no longer has much political power, if any at all, or resources after his demotion, so it doesn’t make a lot of sense. The rumor was questioned not only by the original article (as far as I remember) but also by the experts and russian opposition.

Because if you don’t actually need it, you’d get better performance with 64GB or 48GB due to being able to use higher clock speeds. (Depends on the CPU)

I live in an autocratic country and have to suffer from sanctions due to our officials’ abhorrent decisions.
Due to that, for example, none of the banking apps can be installed on iPhones. So, NFC is useless. Neither does it have anti-DPI apps to overcome censorship, afaik.
