I’m not American

I’m not American

This is some insane victim blaming.
Wait… Is that a legit poster?

Why didn’t he just cross state lines illegally with a gun and shoot the spider?

It’s often a red flag of emotional problems as well
Wooowwww… This is an insane generalised judgement.

removing individual freedom is never good
I generally agree that prohibition doesn’t work, and is bad, but having an absolutist position like this is usually problematic. For example we have to restrict some people’s freedoms. Like some people want to harm or kill others, that should not be a freedom people have.
Most things in life have a lot of nuance, which means we can’t usually make blanket rule for things.
In saying all that… Prohibition usually doesn’t solve the issue, sometimes makes it worse, and often ends up hurting people who are already suffering (usually why they resort to harmful substances)

I’m pretty sure that a lot of the horrible shit that comes out of conservatives is their response to their anxieties.
It’s kind of like fight or flight. Although most people turn it inwards and recluse, some people become aggressive and turn it outwards in reaction to it.

Don’t forget the last one in Qatar

I mean, just the fact that we increased the ppm by ~100, or 1/3rd what it was, in just 60 years is terrifying. Let alone that it’s accelerating. And CO2 isn’t even the worst climate change gas. And there are many positive feedback loops getting exacerbated by the effects…
Good times

More special than ones we’ve detected, but our detection methods have a very biased available dataset.

I know the title explicitly says gay men, but then talks about Gay women and straight men as if the two sexualities are all that exist.
I’m sure the number, if you include bi, bi curious, pan etc. Is much higher than 5%.
I’m a mostly straight man (let’s say 2/3rds) and I’ve given more blowies than an ex female I was with for over a decade.
That’s what happens when you give the richest people tax breaks and subsidise all your rich buddies endevours without uplifting the lowest socio-economic portions if society.
The best way to fix the economy is always to give the poorest more money (or less financial burden) because they spend a much higher percentage (usually all) of their excess income to keep afloat or improve their way of life.
The worst way is to give rich people more money. Because they horde it, gamble on non tangible goods (stocks, crypto, “ai” etc), send it off shore, keep it in the family and share it with other rich people etc.
It’s ironic that the party that always does the worse thing for the economy and demonises doing the best is seen by the masses as the “good for the economy” party.

It blows my mind that you can just stumble across that stuff on a popular public forum

This also explains why any “woke” movie or TV series gets immediately review bombed

The nra, constantly talking about the need for everyone to have guns to prevent tyranny.
Now government agents are doing illegal shit (kidnapping, assaulting, deporting legals, and outright murder) and all the of a sudden “citizens need to stop antagonising” is their reply? Because it’s their thugs.
The bright side of all this horrific bullshit is that, assuming it’s even possible to have fair elections in the future, you can immediately dismiss anyone on the right when they try to play the “moral superior” card as a justification for their bullshit
“but freedom of speech”, “2nd amendment”, “protect kids from pedofiles”. Nah fuck of mate. You completely disregarded all of that when it was “once of you”. You don’t get to play that card anymore.

Being epsteins best friend, saying how much they have in common because “he likes them young like me”, being the president that promised to release the files, now having that power to do that and refusing to do so…
The same people that wanted to shoot up a pizza place and kids reading sessions in public libraries because of completely. imaginary links to pedophilia are totally fine with trump though.

I’m not saying they’re correct in not calling it that, or that the system necessarily works that way, but they’ll have lawyers to look over everything in these sorts of scenarios and they’ll, usually, ask to play it safe.
Also, re point 2, it’s different to say “autopsy says it’s homicide” vs the paper/journalist saying that they were murdered. Unless it’s legally ruled as such (judge/court case), the news agency could be liable if they said it themselves. The headline is essentially just quoting someone else.

It’s unfortunate but usually wording like that is intentional and necessary, I.E if you say “mother fuckers murdered him” you’ll get sued.

The “best” part is that none of these end up taking into account the fact we’ll cook ourselves/the planet from excess heat waste long before climate change can finish the job
And this was before ai started to speed up the job
I mean… 3600 is 300 dozen
