3·5 months agoDo you recommend putting it on pixel 6? Or is it outdated?
I see, it’s because its not your property and it’s continuous, but GDPR does not stop you from taking pictures in public.
Its not the same. Filming people in public is legal if it’s for personal use. Your security camera is illegal if it’s continuously recording and it’s pointing at the street with neighbor doors visible for example.
What is banned in EU?
Glasshole indeed!

Linux@lemmy.world•Does Terminal use actually make sense in the real world?English
1·9 months agoDepends on your work. If you manage headless remote servers or computers, terminal through SSH is kinda the only way to use the computer. There is a lot of software and algorithms or databases that don’t actually require a gui. Terminal comands are also great because they can be easily reused and further integrated and automated.

I do think that they are perfectly capable of smear campaign, but you have to acknowledge that oss privacy community people are very critical and fast to point out any potential risks and thus label the whole service as bad. Rightfully so most of the time. We are the first to call out a privacy focused company. There is no need to call out gmail, anyone who cares already knows.
