No closed loop system is 100% efficient. I worked in my youth with steam loop systems and even they developed leaks. Every few years needed to be shutdown and drained. 100% if they truly meant that is a fantasy/lie.

I once spent quite a bit of time because I fat fingered a huge retraction amount and failed to spot it for days. You wouldn’t think the slicer would have allowed a 50mm retraction distance either. It was a direct drive extruder and I was unloading my filament when I thought my extruder was stopping up randomly.

I have a fiat 500. I find it easier and cheaper to fix than my toyota. The diagnostic software is top notch and can even program keys cost under a hundred dollars. Since its close to the european version I have great documentation since in europe they don’t paywall the repairs like they do in the US.
