Really cause from what I read he tried to get the promotors to NOT boot Macklemore, and Macklemore backs that up. You are putting a whole lot of words I did not say in my mouth. I said I understood why Sheeran was staying neutral, he’s trying to play the whole " I’m an artist for all people" blah blah bullshit. And I said I disagreed with it. It’s really common for musicians to do that, because they want ALL fans. One of the reasons I like Macklemore is that he doesn’t do that and is willing to put his career on the line for it. The fact that just trying to say “I understand why someone did something even if I don’t like it” still gets bombarded is pretty fucked up.
