It’s very nice to not have a dozen different versions of the same distro to parse through and figure out that are simply the same distro with a different DE. Moreover, very few of them offer this many options.

Cachy could be doing a better job explaining what the user is looking at here and who each of these is for. Pretty easy to sum up in 1-2 sentences…

    I agree here. I have been dual-booting for a while now, after I started venturing into Linux with a Raspberry Pi and subsequently installing Ubuntu on my laptop.

    I am currently running Mint Cinnamon (mainly on my laptop, occasionally on my gaming rig) and until a couple days ago had no idea that I am pretty much free to choose my desktop with any distro I go for.

    Since it seems like I’ll eventually ditch Windows altogether and didn’t like Novara at all, I will probably check out CachyOS next weekend.
