reported it to Sony
Licking a multi-billion dollar, international corporations boots makes me feel… I just don’t know anymore.
Its reported via bounty program. Their greed for money surpassed the desire to help out system ownership just a little for everyone (the flow wanted to wait till after gta6 to report the bug, so at least the base gta6 would be available to users who want to hack their device)
Article are written by someone who’re pro slop and try to vilify the project.
who’re
unnecessary apostrophe
someone whore
no, it’s better with the apostrophe
I mean…sexism aside, someone who sell themselves out and speak for bigger corporate is definitely a whore.
Whore is gender inclusive just not sex positive.
Someone’s whore?
Sad, I thought about buying one to use as a pc, now both this happened and my laptop screen broke so I need new laptop instead that is much more expensive than ps5
Search for refurbished laptops, then fill them with some cheap DDR4 ram

I don’t trust Backmarket. They seem to be a scam site.
Seems like a pet project in the first place. People can run a full steam OS at this point.

On PS5?
Not possible on the latest firmware, but yes: Installing Steam on the PS5 | BringusStudio | Youtube
You can on a used AMD BC-250 board, which is what’s inside a PS5. With a liquid cooling set up, I spent less than €400, which includes a new 1TB ssd (almost half of the cost)
I just finished my build and it’s great!!
I do have a ps5, but I do not have an AMD BC-250. 😭
No, I mean in general people can make a steam machine.
So, how exactly do I turn my PS5 into one?
By not buying ps5. You bought it with expectation of running linux on it?
Cool. Can you borrow your time machine so I don’t buy one 5 years ago?
You expected to run linux on it 5 years ago? Based on what?
There used to be a time where you bought hardware and MAYBE you could do more with it. The assumption being that someone is going to fuck you over later so you can do less with your hardware sucks.
Well, there is an assumption like this with playstation, and this assumption exists since ps3. I’m not saying that it wouldn’t be great if there were an ability to install whatever you want.
