I need to map network shares from my Synology NAS and also from a Win11 Pro desktop. There are just so many variations on how to do this. All I need to do is map drive letters to shares on startup so they are always available.

I use sftp://files.lan with my Synology rather than SMB as its usually easier when using both Linux client and server and you can set up key authentication. I guess you are using the Nautilus files app with Ubuntu, so you can then drag and pin folders to the list of folders (under Documents, Music etc) on the left.
