I wish it was that easy. California would instantly be a top 5 GDP country and could enforce its own taxes on states and corporations outside of California for every resource we have… instead we’re stuck under this shithead president that thinks tariffs are a means of stimulating the economy. The guy is a fucking idiot and most of uUS are anticipating the day he no longer breathes the same air we do.
I’m sure that there is plenty of arrogance from Idaho to Georgia… the electoral college has given way too much of a voice for the flyover states even though they are the minority. I can guarantee you that the coastal communities in the States hate what our country has become as much as you Canucks do. Western Washington/Oregon/California have hated the maga movement from the beginning, unfortunately billionaires use it to pocket tax dollars left and right, and the simps in purple states are down for the billionaire cause despite the fact that they will spend hundreds of millions of dollars to elect officials who are against a universal healthcare bill.
I think bacon bits are just a relic of the late 20th century. People still love bacon, but more people have access to functional kitchens where they can cook and freeze their own bacon at home, prefer less packaging on their food, and try to consume a more “organic” diet, things like bacon bits and pre-processed croutons on baked potatoes and salads are just not worth the price they’re charged for anymore. Literally the most basic home cook can make bacon with a griddle or frying pan now, which will be so much tastier and satisfying than buying some dry ground pork product which costs the same amount as the overly processed “meat” you get in a bacon bits jar.
